If we think about it, value as a concept can have a lot of meaning. It is not just gold, diamonds or a sports car, that can be valuable to someone, as there are as many people as there can be meaning to this term.

As I looked around to look for objects that were important to me, I had to realize that almost any object, even a napkin, could become valuable to me from a beautiful memory associated with it. This is how I found my used tickets hidden in my commemorative box. Be it concert, museum or cinema tickets, nostalgic memories can be attached to them.
Let’s not forget that like paper, memories wear out, fade, and old memories are replaced by new, beautiful experiences.

I wanted to make a ring that expresses this process. Used tickets are rolled up by many, fumbling with their hands while standing in line or walking; i designed my jewelry for the little paper cylinder we got this way.
The ring, complete with the tickets, forms a complete object, although without the paper it does not fall off our hands, it can be felt that something is still missing, the object is not complete. However, due to the design of the ring, it is inevitable that, like memories, the captured ticket will wear out after a short or long period of time, which will be replaced by a new ticket, so a new memory.
